Resona Diagnostic Imaging Centre was inaugurated in 1988 as a centre to provide the best quality high-tech imaging, in surroundings where patients receive full care. Initially, there was just one 0.5 Teslas Magnetic Resonance unit, the second one to be installed in Spain. The Centre was been conceived to offer exceptional quality service to our patients, in efficient surroundings, both for diagnostic imaging and radiological reports on results.

 Equipment:

– High field magnetic resonance (Siemens Symphony)

– Cutting-edge equipment which, in addition to basic programmes, enables advanced studies.

– Multi-slice helical CT (Toshiba Aquilion)

– With applications to produce higher resolution standard studies (minimum thickness of 0.5 mm), enabling high quality in 3D and VR post-processing (volume rendering).

– Ultrasound scanner (Toshiba Aplio 300).
– Digital imaging diagnostic equipment.

– Full-mouth X-ray equipment.
– Ultrasound scanner (General Electric XDCLEAR LOGIQ S8).

– Exterotaxia mammogram equipment (Mammomat Inspiration).

– AGFA work station. 

It has a team of specialised X-ray technicians, accordingly qualified in Spain and with long-term experience, allowing us to rapidly and effectively respond to patient diagnostic issues. Work is arranged by organs and systems, assigning specialists to various diagnostic fields: neuroradiology, heart & lungs, musculoskeletal, chest…

In breast examinations, Resona’s Comprehensive Unit is able to rapidly complete a diagnostic test, and even a biopsy, if necessary.
